Investing with purpose
Investing responsibly is an integrated aspect of PEP’s investment program. As PEP Gateway does not control the underlying investment decisions of the fund managers with which it invests, the sourcing, evaluating and structuring phase of these placements is critical. The PEP Gateway team undertake extensive due diligence on potential manager investment partners. In respect of situations where there is a single underlying investment asset, PEP Gateway will also review diligence conducted on that asset and conduct its own enquiries to evaluate potential material environment, social and governance risks and opportunities.
PEP Gateway invests with managers that are signatories of the UN Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI) in addition to managers the PEP Gateway team considers have robust ESG systems and standards.
